Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Enqlave — this website, the waitlist, and the Enqlave apps for Mac, iPhone and iPad — is a service of Enclave AI LLC, 5830 East 2nd St. PMB 91378, Casper, WY 82609, United States. When these terms say "we" or "us", they mean Enclave AI LLC. You can reach us at hello@enclave-ai.com.

2. The service

Enqlave organizes, summarizes and answers questions about your documents. It is currently offered as a private beta: joining the waitlist requests access, and we grant access as spots open up. Some features rely on an AI provider key that you configure yourself in the app.

3. Your content

Your documents remain yours. Enqlave encrypts them on your devices before they sync, and our cloud stores only ciphertext we cannot read. You grant us no rights in your documents beyond what is technically required to store and sync that encrypted data on your behalf. Our Privacy page explains this in more detail.

4. Acceptable use

Use Enqlave for lawful purposes and your own documents. Don't attempt to disrupt the service, probe or circumvent its security, or use it to store material you have no right to hold.

5. Beta software

During the beta, Enqlave is provided as-is. Features may change, and occasional interruptions are possible while we improve the service. Keep original copies of important documents — Enqlave organizes your files; it is not your only backup.

6. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Enclave AI LLC's liability in connection with the beta service is limited to the amount you have paid us for it — which, during the free beta, is nothing. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

7. Changes and termination

We may update these terms as the service evolves; the date above reflects the latest revision. You can stop using Enqlave at any time, and you can ask us to delete your waitlist entry or account data by emailing us.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States.
